Internationally it is estimated almost 78% of 11-18 year olds
have no foreign language skills at all. This figure is particularly
alarming given the fact that, even if you do not study a language
at every education level, most people will have picked up some
basics traits during years of education.
This satistic is brought sharply into focus we are told that two
thirds of young people want to work abroad when they become
